Deer Creek Vineyards is a 70 acre property with 40 cultivated acres which will produce in excess of 8,000 cases during calendar year 2005. The variety and quantity of grapes are Pinot Noir (20 acres), Pinot Gris (12 acres) and Chardonnay (8 acres). The anticipated 2005 yield in tons will equal approximately 120 tons which represents a 40% increase over last year’s harvest. The balance of acreage is committed to approximately 5,000 square feet of added improvements, including, residence, barns, wine storage and tasting room. Property also includes grazing pastures and hay production. Superior water rights provide abundant access to both primary and secondary water resources.
The recently completed “Wine Tasting” / “Gift Shop” facility will begin sale of the current wine inventory which has a retail value in excess of $147,000. All equipment necessary to the operation of the vineyard is included.
